hi, i kind of don't get how to use this website, i have a few questions:

How do i get around this site? for example, the only way i know how to get to this introductions thing is by clicking on the link in the "welcome message" otherwise i wouldn't know how to get to this part of the site.

am i not able to do a blog yet because I'm new or something?

when people say "you can talk to me anytime", how does that work? i can't even privet message anyone yet.

i can't go to the chat room, it just doesn't work

and also, in the future, where should i post (or "thread" i guess) these questions, i feel dumb putting them here.

thanks

1. To get around there is a couple pages that are very very handy. First one is the index page. That one can be reached by clicking the banner on top, or hitting "Virtual Teen Forums" on the upper left corner of the page. That'll take you to the forum list, where you'll see places such as The Psych Ward, which contains the Mental Illness, Abuse, Depression sections, as well as others; as well as Puberty 101, which contains Puberty For Boys, Girls, All, and the archive, which is all the locked threads. You have other sections as well, so feel free to explore a bit. Every single one of them has a brief description under the name to help you know what it is.

2. Yes. you need a certain amount of posts to post in your blog.

3. to talk to somebody, you have 2 options within the site. Number one is PM (accesible via the upper right corner link under Welcome, jaackmacy; but you can't use that until you have 100 posts, there is an exception though, you can PM a staff member anytime no matter the post count. Number two is Visitor Messaging, unlike PM, VM is public, and can be seen by all registered members. To access it, you simply click on someone's username and then click "View Profile", or even easier, just click on an avatar and it'll take you to the respective profile. You'll see each member's profile, which contains their personal info, contact info, friends list and even pictures. You can click any username or profile picture to go to the user's profile. To CM somebody, you just go to their profile and type in the box you see up top, under the "Visitor Messages" tab right above it. To reply to someone who VM'ed you though, you will get a notification. The notifications occupy the spot of the Private message link i spoke about earlier, when you have one, you'll see "Your Notifications -> [Number]. Hit that and you'll see Unread PM, VMs, Post quotes (when someone quotes you, you get a notification), mentions, and so on. you'd hitt hat and it'll take you to your own profile to read the VM (which you can also do by hiting your username in "Welcome, jaackmacy"). Once you've read it, you have to do something different this time. if you want to reply to it, don't post in the box in your profile, as you're sending it to yourself. Hit "View Conversation" on the bottom Right of the VM and type in that box, or go to his profile and type in there.

4. I'd need further details here, but make sure your browser hasn't blocked Java or anything.

5. These kind of questions would go in the "Virtual Teen HQ", but if you ever do not know where to place something, post it where you feel it fits best of the forum categories, and we'll most likely see it and move it appropriately.

Hope you got everything, it's certainly a lot to get the hang of. Do PM me if you need any further help, or quote me, that also works.

As for now, Let's move this to the right place:

Introductions :arrow2: VTHQ

No problem! That's what we're here for. As said, any issue, do message me. Did you sort out the chat room access issue?
