Compression Shorts

Ok so i am 18 years old and i have always worn boxers, so the other day my mom comes home with compression shorts for me and says these should make my job easier because i have a very active job, how do i get use to wearing them as their are very from fitting and tight. I guess their suppose to be like that i don't know because i have never worn any type of tight fitting clothing especially underwear. Thanks for your time, here is a link to the shorts them selves, their not expensive because she said i don't want to spend a lot if you won't like them. The website says they are boxer briefs but after some research they are actually compression shorts. And also how tight and form fitting do they have to be, i can get two fingers in the leg opening comfortably but they are tight and don't move easily or ride up.

I would say wear more compression shorts to get used to them, or wear them often followed by washing them often
