Hey,
So I didn't really know the best place to post this, however, it's still related to puberty and I believe this forum has the most views.
Anyway, I've made it to 18 now and I think I've done pretty well avoiding major body hair growth. Only really the obvious regions, chest hair is virtually invisible HOWEVER it is growing, and this scares me.
I'm at uni now, and as I've said in my other posts, it's time for me to start actually looking after myself and doing what I want as opposed to whats socially expected.
In short, I have hair growing in places that I don't want it to. I have an electronic face shaver, but I'm looking for an easier possibly more permanent solution. I tried my face shaver on my pit hair and almost broke the device (and my armpit), so nah.
I've been looking at the more expensive forms like IPL and laser treatment, but the reviews are mixed and I'm only a student with a small budget.
I cant grow decent facial hair, its still patchy, thus it has to be shaved otherwise it looks awful. However, if it grew a bit more evenly, the idea of growing a beard (etc...) is not out of the window.
I want to be able to deal with my upcoming chest hair, its currently at the thin white stages but I've noticed black ones especially when wet (IPS wouldnt deal with this very well I believe). So while its not a problem at this exact moment in time, I fear it will be soon.
The other area I wanna kill are my legs, there's no getting away from the fact that they are hairy. Even though I'm a guy and hairy legs are supposed to be what men have. I still feel too self conscious to wear shorts in public.
So my questions to you guys are, what do you use to remove hair (and where)? how often do you have to do it? and does it have any negative effects (hurts/damages skin etc...)
Thanks for reading!
