I really want to get an ombre for this summer, but i dont want to straight up bleach my hair, because it's so bad for it (i have natural hair, so it easily gets really dry). I usually color my hair with henna, so something equally damaging or less is preferred. Does anyone have any tips on how to bleach with as little damage to the hair as possible?

I'd say do not wash your hair for 3-4 days.

The day before you bleach, I recommend you soak your hair in coconut oil and sleep with it in overnight. This will prevent scalp irritation and will protect the hair strand at some level. You can bleach with the coconut oil in your hair. Once you're done with the bleaching process, rinse your hair out with cold water.

Give yourself time between bleaches, if you want the ombré asap, a week is fine, if you have a lot of time, give yourself 3-6 weeks before bleaching again.

I didn't do any precautions before bleaching my hair, I just did it and it still feels fine. I also straighten it pretty much everyday. Basically, my hair is probably dead as fuck but it feels fine so I don't care. :D
