I'm 17 and have sensitive skin, but I was kinda bored so I shaved my pubes just to see what it would be like. It was fine for about a day until I got some horrible acne-like stuff in my pubic region, and even some pimples with pus inside them, which I didn't pop. It's been about a week and it's gone away but I actually preferred the shaved look. Is there any way that I can shave my pubes without getting breakouts down there?

From what you are describing it sound like they are actually ingrown hairs... It happend to me when I first started shaving my pubes too... Now I don't get them anymore. Trust me. Keep up with the shaving. It's worth it!

Sounds like ingrown hair. You don't just get acne right after shaving. Just use some shaving cream when you shave and then apply lotion afterwards so it won't be so bad

Ingrown hairs will reduce the more you do it.

yeah its ingrown hairs, but don't worry! what I do to get rid of any marks is just dab tea-tree oil on a cotton ball and dab it on it, it stings if you also have razor rash, only for a little bit though and it goes down really well! worth a try. just remember it does sting haha

That happened when I shaved my chest once. Never did that again.

Same here .. I have also sensitive skin . Try to use aftershave lotion after it , wait until it absorbes , then put some baby skin cream , and put little bit baby powder .. Belive me , you'll never have problems of that kind anymore .

i think its because it was your first time, if u shave again your skin will get used to it and it will probably be fine

Its just irritated. Keep shaving and trying different creams before during and after to see how your skin reacts.

It sounds like they are actually ingrown hairs. It happened to me when I first started shaving my pubes too. I found that if I shave with the grain of my pubes then I don't get the ingrown hairs. Don't shave up towards your body, I believe that's what causes it.

Try waxing instead man. It's what i do, i get a hollywood style wax, so it's great, far better than shaving.

Each time I've shaved it's got less itchy so I suppose maybe each time you shave the spots will go away. I'm not sure though.
