Okay, I thought I was pretty good at science and science classes. But then I met Chemistry. I hate it, and I hate the class. But that is causing my grades to slip in the class. So I was wondering if there was a way in finding interest in a class? I can't do well in a class in general, not just chemistry, if I don't enjoy it. So are there any tips or tricks on getting through an awful class?

Thanks:)

I mean just try to do your best and get help if you needed from a tutor or whatever. sadly we are all going to take classes form time to time we are not going to like and you are just going to have to do your best

View it as a challenge to be won. When you are stumped, ask for clarification. Find a study buddy, or a study group and make the class an interesting experience. Chemistry is all around us in what we wear, eat, put on and in our bodies. Knowledge of chemistry is important to your life, so buckle down and determine that you will win out on this class. Good luck, study hard, get help when you need it!

This is great advice. I'm a Chemistry major in college, and I love it mainly because it is challenging and tests you. I excelled in Chemistry in high school, and now in college in intro chem, I have an 80% (failed my 2nd exam) but i'm still intrigued and interested because I want to master in it.

Me personally, I like chemistry because I like math and there's a lot of math in chemistry. I hate English though so much and it's like pulling teeth to get me to do the work. Wanting to get an A, though, motivates me enough (just barely) to do it.

Thanks for the affirmation! This has worked for me all through school in many classes. I enjoyed my two chem courses. I will be a junior at university starting this summer. I am majoring in agri business. Hope you continue to enjoy the sciences and do well.
