I agree if his sister was able to wake him up into a conscious state, then that is good news. When somebody takes an OD it can have a lot of negative effects on the brain, and if he was able to wake up and get up then that is a good sign.

Taking that much paracetamol can also hurt your liver, but I'm not a doctor, and do not want to tell you things that may not happen.

I hope your friend pulls through. The best thing you can do now is try to comfort yourself and his family.

I hope everything is okay. From previous experience, I can say that if the doctors know what he took they should be able to give him something that counters the effects. I really hope he turns out okay. It's important for you to be there for him, and we are here for you if you want to talk.

that mustve sucked for him. od'ing on pills is one of the most painful and least effecient ways to kill yourself. you have my condolences

I've been in a very similar position. It was an absolutely horrifying experience, I wish him all the best.

That's great news that he's fine. But you know this isn't the end it's only the beginning you should try and support him the best you can and find out why he did it if he's happy to say.
