how to fit within the signature limit

So I wanted to add this gif (http://i.imgur.com/9AVgxyX.gif) that I made to my signature but it said the file was too large because it was 1.01mb :/ How do I make the file smaller without making the gif smaller (if you get what I mean)?

Unfortunately the small signature size limit doesn't fiv much room for gifs, if at all. I highly doubt that you'll manage to insert that gif. It's more than 10x bigger than the size limit.
