It IS possible for a boy to have an orgasm without being fully erect, it all depends on the level of arousal and stimulation being provided, but yes, it is very possible.

A wet dream has to do with arousal. Usually, at the beginning of puberty or really anytime you've not masturbated for an extended period of time, the body will produce dreams that arouse you and eventually bring you to orgasm. It's the body's way of getting rid of excess sperm. I'm not sure, I guess it would vary wether or not you wake up from it, but yes you'll know. Most guys says it feels like they wet the bed, but it's semen.

1) It's usually thought that he has a boner while he cums in his sleep.
2) Ejaculation can occur while soft, so I'd say yes
3) During sleep, it could be both. You might be so turned on that you move around too much and you cum or it could be ebcause your body needs to release old excess cum.
