For me, generally just takes longer when standing; I prefer to be comfortable sitting or in bed. I don't do it in the shower for that reason. Taking longer in the shower probably has to do with standing up combined with the hot water.

I think it is because you are not used to doing it in there. Also if you dont usually jack off and cum while standing up, then that is also probably why. Like, for instance, i usually jack off while laying down on my bed. And for some reason, i cant jack off comfortably while standing or sitting up. And it also takes me forever to cum while standing up or sitting up.

Perhaps it also has something to do with the temperature of the water when you shower. For decades, guys have been advised to "go take a cold shower" when Horney with no outlet available.

It is more likely that you are showering with water that is much hotter than room temperature. Theoretically, a hot shower causes vasodilation (blood vessels open larger than usual) as an attempt to cool the body. If your water is hot & you are in the shower for a while, the body mat rerout blood to surface vessels of the skin (hence the red cheeks-top or bottom, lol.

It is possible that the rerouting of blood, as well as your body deciding that cooling your body temperature issue is a higher priority than orgasm. I THINK, it is to do with your heart rate. An ejaculation causes your heart rate to quicken, heating the body. During a (presumably hot) shower, with hot water running down your body, heating it. The extra heat, plus the movement overheats the body, raising the heart rate even more. For this reason also, you might notice your ejaculations are weaker in the shower, than not. That you feel more exhausted in the shower while wanking, than not. But of course, everyone is different. But I do find it is more difficult to ejaculate in the shower due to this. That, and water is not a good lubricant ^.^

I'm no doctor, I've just based this on things I've read and personal experience. Did you know if your heart rate reaches a certain rate in that heat, it's possible for the body to faint? I found that out the hard way. Becareful when masturbating in the shower, don't exert yourself.
