I'm curious, is there anyone else here with hearing problems or deaf.
Anyone else have a cochlear implant?

Because of two consecutive ear infections when I was young, I almost went deaf and ended up on the verge of being officially impaired. It's hard for me to understand people I don't listen to much, and end up attempting to assimilate the sounds with familiar words or just asking them to repeat another time or two.
