Well I'm not sure about that, but I have actually seen user names that are inappropriate.

I've seen WetPuss, (Obviously inappropriate), NaughtyVirgin, Something spelled differently but is pronounced Sexy Sami, and a few more.

But I believe I have heard that there is a rule about usernames' should be appropriate to make VT look like a more healthy and safe environment for teenagers who are considering joining. And probably the reason is because, this is a teen website. Not 18+

Generally inappropriate usernames are frowned upon. If I see an inappropriate username I'll ask the user to change it, and if the user refuses I might pick a new one out for them. Unfortunately we don't see every inappropriate username right away.

Thanks Mike. Regarding this specific username, would you rather I didn't go with it? I honestly don't mind, as I would hate to portray a non-welcoming and unprofessional "vibe" for the site.

I'm personally not a huge fan of inappropriate usernames, and while I do realize that you don't mean any harm by it, I think it's for the best that you don't. Also, there is a filter for most inappropriate words in usernames, and porn is included in that. So even if you tried to use it the system would likely reject it.
