Do you girls like it? Or is it a big turn off? I have quite a bit.A little bit above average than most guys.I've noticed a few people look when I had a tank top on and I lifted my arms. Some look satisfied or shy. Then, some look completely appalled by seeing it.Is it really that repulsive to some people? It would be weird to shave it though and it would itch too.

If you can see it when your pit is closed then in my opinion you've got too much. If you have then don't shave it all off just trim it back.

It's a sign of male dominance keep it

If I trim it,it itches like heck. You can barely see a few strands when my arms are a little backwards not when they're at my side. You can't see any then.

Anybody else have comments to add? :)

I think it boils down to the fact hair is perceived to be a possibly dirty, greasy place. Like just with the hair on your head, if you don't wash it, numerous amounts of sometimes disgusting things can occur. Especially with armpits, as you sweat from there so I can see why some girls don't like it. Just like some guys don't like girls to have hair in certain areas.

I don't see that it would be a big deal. Hair on your head or crotch is a lot different than under your arms.

I think it's more strange when guys don't have armpit hair. I say keep it but you should trim it a little so it won't become a bush.

I do trim it sometimes, but it gets really itchy,so I've stopped for a couple months.

My cousin coincidentally said today that it is disgusting. I think it's good to shave it off, I don't like having them.

I think guys look pretty weird not having, all my guy friends pretty much have it and it would be weird if they shaved

I would prefer zero body hair. No hair bellow the neck period. That's the ideal for girls. I'd like it on guys too, but I understand that the way things are, it's not considered normal for a guy to shave or wax his body, so most don't. I'm ok with it, but hairless would sure be nice.

Well unless their swimmers because then that makes sense.

But the anti-hair movement has been around a while at least over the past 18 years.

For guys though as long as the armpits are washed I don't know of many complaints by girls generally speaking.

I'm actually more satisfied when guys do have hair, though not so much on chests and underneath their arms. I'm not exactly sure why; where I come from, I've seen a lot of men who had waayy above what would be average, so I guess I grew up not really liking it in those places haha :D

It could be marketing from ads and Hollywood shaping public opinion of what is defined as "sexy".

All those axe body spray commercials, then the twilight saga shirtless wolves...

Seems like it might have a serious impact on our generation's perspective of the world.

I find chubby girls to be really attractive and I don't mind if girls have hair on them either, so I don't think Hollywood's affected me too much :D
Also, I've been like this ever since I was a little kid in pre-school really, and at 4 years old I wasn't experienced to ads much.

If you don't want to shave it or trim, then don't. Its your body and you can choose to do it or not. I don't see why so many people have to have a problem with hair

The only time I have a problem with hair is when it gets in my mouth or throat.

That's really the only reason I don't like hair.

I don't like body hair ANYWHERE. Smooth is best.

Yeah, that's understandable. Its when people say its disgusting or shit then its just stupid because it's up to the person on how they want their body, not what other people want

Its all about your preference, not what others think or want.If your significant other doesn't like it,well too bad for them because it's not their choice,it's yours.

It is ok with me to have hair (if it is clean, of course) but if I could have it my way I would prefer no hair at all. I just like it that way, so smooth! Just my own personal preference, though. If you think different, that is ok to.

It actually is way older than that. The ancient Romans liked hairles bodies with no pubes or armpit hair or aything, thousands of years ago!

Do not ask me how I know that? LOL :-) I just have so much usless trivia in me!
