This forum is for suggestions pertaining to VT, so I'll go ahead and move this to a better suited forum for you.

Also, you're beautiful, and you can pull off whatever you'd like. If that's the hairstyle you want, all the power to you. Your body, your choice. I personally love trying different colors and stuff in my hair, knowing it can be changed. If you want it, do it.
I'd be more hesitant on the name change, since that's more permanent than a new hairstyle. Give yourself some time, and a few years down the road, if you still really want it, consider it. But it's not a whimsical decision the way hair is.

It wouldn't be a legit name change. My middle name is Nicole, was thinking about going by Nikki. My first name is Taylor, but their are so many Taylor's and in reality I feel a bit detached from it, but I wouldn't go through with actually changing my name legaly

I think it would look nice, but I wouldn't have it layered if I were you. (It'll take forever to even out if you change your mind.

I agree, this example looks cooler! :metal: But the ideas of the topic starter were good too, especially when you don't like very much the extreme hair cuts :)
Maybe that still will be interesting to the beginner of this thread, I think that also a good idea is the changing the colour of your hair in smth more unusual like in this gallery (http://hairstylezz.com/best-plum-hair-color/2/) insted of radically cutting it :) In my case I started exactly from this
I suppose that for example such colours will fit the topic starter :)
