I very controversial question, one that has sparked great wars and will ultimately bring the downfall of the human race. Till then chose your game of amazingness and fight for its victory.

Starting of with the first blow

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Probably going to be a very unpopular choice, but for me it's Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past.

A lot of games I try to play are too complicated with controls, and try to pack too much with graphics and flash and a storyline that you need a freaking book to follow.

I like the simple story and easy gameplay. Not to mention the fairly lengthy time (for me). I played through this several times when I had my Wii.

I think you'd have to split it on genres and types of game and select one from each but for sheer content the elder scrolls games are hard to beat

Impossible to say, probably for me, Bioshock Infinite.

Everyone has their own personal preferences and it does depend on what genre we're talking about.

I cant decide on an individual games as there are so many good ones out there. Personally my favourite games to play based on the amount of time i've spent playing them are Fallout 3, Modern Warfare, Halo 3, Dragon Age and Fifa 15

Skyrim takes the cake for this one. Followed closely by the Portal series (lel, cake) and then GTA:SA

How could I forget GTA! I think Vice City and San Andreas are definitely two of the best ever!

See everyone thinks Skyrim is the best Elder Scrolls game but I felt like Oblivion was better. Sure the graphics are a bit shoddy now for the present time and the combat was atrocious but I think it was such a brilliant masterpiece game and such a contrast from the dark wastelands of Morrowind. Skyrim offered a beautiful visual experience but I feel like the story lacked a lot.

Anyways, my favourite game has got to be Fallout: New Vegas. Obsidian improved everything Fallout 3 set to achieve and yeah made it awesome fun.

I don't know. I really can't say what the "Best Game Ever" is because I haven't played enough to know (despite my giant Steam library). If I was asked what my favorite game is I'd say League of Legends, but I can tell you it's not the best. Personally I'd be inclined to say that Bioshock was one of the best games I've played.

I think Shadow of the Colossus is my favorite game I've played so far. Funny how such a simple game could create such a breathtaking and emotional journey, even without any (understandable) dialogue.

My personal favorite is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I love most of the Zelda games, classic and newer but TP really takes the cake for me.

Nothing is quite at the level of what Kojima does when it comes to story and mechanics, that is why my award for Best Game of All Time goes to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Well I mean of course Call of Duty is definitely the best game of all time with its perfectly amazing, non cliché storyline and its perfectly balanced, always fresh multiplayer.

Metal Gear Solid series. Greatest story ever told in a video game, revolutionnary gameplay for its time, first video game series introducing cinema quality directing and voice acting, amazing score, visual powerhouses, etc...

The best game... Skyrim for its genre and GTA San Andreas and SR2 should share the title for their genre.

Ok time to dust off the old fag routine.

It's either Deus Ex or Thief II the Metal Age.

Other possible contenders: Daggerfall, Dune, System Shock 2 for various reasons.

And to be a prick MGS is shite and Skyrim is the weakest Morrowind game bar that multiplayer abortion of the late 90s and the Redguard one which was just mediocrity in a ball.

All personal opinions of course.

My vote would go to Lufia 2, though I'm not much of a gamer and the most modern console I played was a Wii, which was basically just a Gamecube with the option to play SSBB with for me.

Oh! So close buddy! I've never played a link to the past but I recently bought a link between worlds and that is by far my favourite game of all time

Difficult question... I loved several of Legend of Zelda episodes (indeed Link between world is great). But...

I was hooked much more by a game called "999 - 9 hours, 9 persons, 9 doors". Clever and mysterious, the kind of game that makes you think instead on playing on speed or brute force.
