hey, i started puberty over a year ago and i already have some pubes around my penis the thing is i'm thinking about trimming but i don't know if it's a good idea. What should i do should i trim or wait till my pubes grow some more?

That's all up to you, buddy. It's a lot like asking why is it that you like to have only mustard and relish on hot dogs so much? It's simply because you do and it's your preference. Same thing here; just experiment with it grown out or trimmed and see which style you prefer. It's almost like styling your hair to show off to people except that this is for you rather than you showing to others (and I mean publicly, not behind-closed-doors scenarios).

I was 17 when I first shaved my pubes. I did it because they stuck out of my speedo. Before that I had never felt the need/desire. At the end of summer I let them go back to natural, mostly because I didn't want to spend the time necessary to keep it smooth down there. Trim/shave if you want the look, the feel. Age has nothing to do with what you want to do. So I say give it a go and see what you think. Let us know what you decide.

I recommend that you start trimming around so that you start to adjust around the feeling of having hair and having it cut/shaved from time to time. You can go slow or fast on the progress of keeping your pubic area clean, whether you want to just start trimming for a while or decide to try out shaving. It's all in how you want yourself to get comfortable down there. And by the way, don't worry. If you don't have a flipping clue about how to shave, you can always ask around here or read around the forums if you need elaborate help.

i trim its just more comfortable for me and not as itchy as when i let it grow out remember if you do choose to try it and decide you dont like it it will grow back
