In Sweden, we have had this debate about ISIS fighters coming back to sweden and resting and getting medical treating upon returning to Irak/Syria. It's hard to create a law regarding this, since the law would apply to any terrorist action, and since the definition of terrorism has changed a lot throughout the years, and probably will change a part of the government doesn't want to create a law regarding this since our definition of terrorism could be applied wrongfully, neglecting people who deserve help. Another unofficial reason that the politicians don't talk about, but that is more of an opinion the public have applied to how the government takes care of these kind of issues, is that they want to preserve the peace in Sweden. As long as we are a fairly left, socialist country that lets ISIS fighters back in, it lessens the risk of someone choosing to make an attack on Sweden. This argument is also applied when talking about how Sweden still sells weapons to Saudiarabia, because Swedens weapon industry has always been used to preserve peace in Sweden (we sell you weapons, you dont attack us). So my question is: What do you think of this, and how are the laws in you country?:):D

I'm in the UK , so when someone that has gone to an isis area they are normally locked up when they reach the UK. I think they should be killed if they come back for treason. Law's a bit wired no death penalty, however treason is still punishable by death. I don't see why the taxpayer should pay for health care for them + food water ect.

not necessarily, look at the oslo attacks, though the attacks in norway werent isis related, you cant assume one rogue terrorist wont do something stupid, you can't risk dealing with terrorists, if there's evidence that you supported isis, a terrorist sect, then you should be locked for treason

People who leave their countries to go fight in Islamic terrorist groups should have their passports revoked.

You want to die for Islam, then go and die for Islam.

It's not in the UK. It was repealed in 1998.

agreed. why should countries have to treat people who threaten their very existence?

Arrest them and execute them. They're the enemy. They're evil

Exactly my thoughts. They need to be stopped. Immediately

Well first make sure they're actually fighting for ISIS and not just people who are really bad at picking holiday destinations. Upon discovering that they are terrorists just revoke their passports/arrest them. Should be obvious really. You can try to be passive and hope that they won't attack you, but it's a really risky game to play.

My country has pretty good security so far, anybody leaving to join isis would probably be detained before they fly. In addition the Muslim leaders here have been constantly reminding people that extremism is bad etc so radicals aren't that common here.

Damn, you need Carolus Rex (Karl XII or XIV, Sweden was most powerful, he lived in late 17th and early 18th century) back. He would teach your enemies and people threatening you a few things about warfare. Revoke their passports and charge them for participating in a foreign conflict. They do that here for guys who went to Ukraine.
