Okay, so my senior prom is coming up on the 27th of April, and there's this girl I like and don't know how to ask her and was wondering if anybody had any ideas. Thank you!

Some people do things like spell "Prom?" out in their front lawn in candles as the sun is setting, or bake a cake that says "Prom?" on it, but I think that's kind of over the top, especially if you aren't already dating or have some kind of history with the person. The kind of extravagant things Mike said is a huge deal at my school, we call them promposals. I think that's really sweet and romantic but I'm also really into that sort of thing. You only have to do a fancy 'promposal' if you want and if you think the girl will like it.

simple is the best way. just start talking about it. ask if she planned on going, if she already was going with someone, and if she is available, ask if she wants to go with you.
