Well I asked her and and she just kinda smiled and told me she had a boyfriend and bam! Hopes crushed. I kinda get the feeling she's lying to me though. A buddy from explorers goes to school and is friends with her and said she went on a date with a friend last semester but they haven't done anything elseand she had told him she's not quite sure how her love life my buddy told me she's not the type to just lie and usually only does if she's protecting herself which worries me because why would sh need to protect from me?

Idk. I hope she knows if give her some to think or whatever if that's what she wants. I would hurt her but I guess she doesn't know that

I'm sorry that you got shot down. It hurts, but you had the cojones to ask her out, and not everybody does. If she's lying she probably just reacted poorly when she was deciding on how to say no. Either way, don't get too hung up on it, doing that won't help you in the end.

Maybe she was not sure about you. You need to grow a better rapport with her. Shooting down someone usually involves the excuse of already being with someone. You might wanna try again after some time. Just hang out with her and chill.
