If you are in highschool, going to highschool soon, or have recently left highschool within a 1-year parameter, or you are between the ages of 13 to 19, please take a minute to answer this short 8-question survey, to help with a school assignment, studying the topic of teens, and how music may or may not have a positive or negative influence on them.

I have done some research on this topic, and many articles claim that music does not have a positive influence on them, however from my own experience, I can debate this reason, that it is completely based on the type of music you are listening to, and the mood you are trying to get into. I personally do not feel that music affects my actions or thoughts. What are your opinion on the topic?

Please also share this survey with your friends and others you know who fit the 13 - 19 age bracket.
I have created a shortened link online to help you more easily share and type the link at tinyurl.com/teenmusic
Thank you.

My mood isn't overly affected by music, although it does enhance whatever mood I'd currently be in depending on the genre I listen to.

Having a bajillion options for Rock and then cramming Jazz with EDM really was a sliiiigghtt oversight. At least ol' Metal's listed.

Does music have a positive effect on me? Most absolutely. Despite a lot of neglect increasing since start of highschool (and unfortunately early in my musical adventures), music has brought me a lot of positive experiences, not only related to listening but also to be able to talk to people about similar preferences, and to apply what I listen to to events in my life.
