We reached a point that we all agree that we feel sad/ashamed or just a bad feeling after masturbating to porn..

It's normal a lot of people feel that way, I do at times, I think it's cos you know your watching something you shouldn't be / your parents wouldn't want you to watch.

Could be related to the "comedown" people have after reaching orgasm. Experiencing a high level of euphoria in a short space of time means that a comedown follows with the mood to revert back to the original. It's almost like a short bout of depression.

there are a lot of reasons why one may feel guilty. my best advice is if porn does make you feel guilty (which is normal for a lot of people) then don't watch it

I think it is maybe two things for one you maybe feel just bad and then guilty about the porn anyway and then the comedown or refractory period which happens after orgasm.
Maybe try and not have the porn ?

Males have what's known as a "refractory" period, where the mind and body are pretty much turned off al most as much as the horny animals we were mere seconds before. If we didn't have that, we would just keep fucking away and over populate the planet more than we already are...When we are young, we REALLY mix that feeling up with guilty feelings about sex period, and religious nonsense feeds on that with their teachings of it being a sin, etc...Luckily, most of us get over this, and just fall asleep...and wake up hard and horny for more!!!

Porn has a negative stigma. So it's like your finding pleasure of something that's bad. But MOST a people doing porn are consenting adults doing a job. So it shouldn't be bad. But just be careful with what you waych

Well I used to feel guilty about it, but then one day I just kind of got over it. Now my mom knows I watch porn (oops :rolleyes:) so I don't really have a reason to feel like that anymore XD

This is really down to the interaction of two opposing forces:

1. We get mixed messages. On the one hand sex is used to sell all kinds of things but on the other we have legal age limits on porn and various message from various religions that include some things like porn being wrong, masturbating being wrong, sex being wrong outside marriage etc. Depending on exactly what you are exposed to you can develop some guilt around sex, masturbation and porn.

2. The sex drive. Hormones make you horny and feel like you need to cum. The natural response to that is to have sex if it is available or to masturbate if it is not.

What happens is that when you're horny that is the stronger force which makes you do whatever is required to get you to cum. Once you have cum there is a hormonal change, responsible for refractory period, that means you are temporarily not horny any more. Being horny is now longer the stronger force and how you feel goes back to the messages you have absorbed about the rights and wrongs of sexual things.

From that we can say a few things:

1. Feeling guilty are cumming is not inevitable. Over time what weight you place on the messages saying various things about sex is wrong can change and with that, how you feel in that refractory period will also change.

2. While the sex drive is too strong to ignore you can make certain choices so you can, for example, choose not to use use porn and just use your imagination if that fits in better with your personal values.

3. It is pointless for any religion or organisation to promote rules that require a post-pubescant guy to avoid sexual release (cumming) except in narrow circumstance (such as being married, or trying for baby).

Feeling bad about using porn is just self-imposed guilt, and there is no reason for it. You should not feel guilty about enjoying porn, after all it is made for that reason, so just relax and enjoy!
