I was just thinking "Omg... that literally happened 2 hours away from me." It's terrible that stuff like this happens, especially in our state.

Wow.
You're right, crimes aren't uncommon. A multitude of crimes happen everyday. Does that make this tragedy (or any tragedy) less terrible? Absolutely not. Interesting it be sombody who prides themselves on the strength of America's police force, who says "this ain't that bad, just another day, just another (two) homocide(s)."
Y'all need a reality check. What strength is there in dismissing the death of children, brought to them by the hands of their mother, as just another crime? What strength is there in lessening the value of human life?
"Just another day, just another crime."

There are psychological disorders and societal/environmental factors that contributed and lead to this heartbreaking tragedy. It's our job not to shrug this off in a half -ssed "c'est la vie" kind of attitude but to show these deaths the proper respect and urgency in trying to prevent it from ever happening again.
Wow.

I'm not saying these deaths aren't important that's not what I'm saying at all. I was saying these brutal things are not such a big surprise to me because I have been around death and brutal acts all the time. It doesn't effect me or shock me as much.
I'm not dismisskng human life much like I see others do when officers are killed saying "oh it was just a cop" of course I beleive this woman should be severely punished to the full extent.

I'm not sure what you're trying to convey by stating this. Strength?

No you're just saying that, hey, this ain't that big a deal in your opinion because you're so used to death and murder and brutality (supposedly).
much like I see others do when officers are killed saying "oh it was just a cop"
Yes, there are those who cheer at the death of police officers. There are also those who are apathetic towards living police officers. I'm not one of them. I don't think anyone's life comes at a cheap cost.
I've noticed that the death of an officer usually kindles an emotional response from you as well, though less celebratory or in this case less apathetic and more mournful in nature.
Are these children's lives of less value to you than a police officers?
Of course I beleive this woman should be severely punished to the full extent.
I don't doubt that, just your "no biggie, just another crime" demeanor is throwing me off, especially since you're such a vehement supporter of justice.

how twisted do you have to be to act like it is no big deal a mother is killing her children and then storing them in the freezer. are you that detached you just shrug your shoulders and say oh well?

Im not trying to convey anything other than I'm used to seeing and hearing about this stuff that it doesn't phase me. I'm not saying one life is more valuable than another i was just answering your saying I consider their lives worthless.
Of course I care and of course I feel bad but I'm just used to this sort of stuff. This case isn't anything rare.

I'm not acting like its no big deal. Im just saying it's not uncommon. In case you missed my other posts you would have seen my explaining.
We kind of to have to shrug it off and push on because what are we gonna do
