Dressing Up

recently I went to an even that required me to wear a suit. the whole dress up bit, tie, nice shoes. at first I wasn't looking forward to it but after I got dressed it was pretty cool. normally I wear shorts and flip flops so it was a real change.

anyone else find out that getting all dressed up once in awhile is nice?

Yeah when I had my prom I got all dressed up I felt really comfortable/good in it. I'm a trainee carpenter so I'm not really use to dressing up but I enjoy it when I do.

Yeah I find it awesome when everyone's all dressed up and we compliment each other on how cool we look :P I have to admit suit & tie isn't the most comfortable thing to wear, but it's just fun, not just for the dressing itself, but for the event taking place.

I like to dress up for formal event(s). Recently I went to this dinner and wore a suit jacket, pants, button up, tie, tie hook, and the rest. It's not that uncomfortable and I enjoy looking nice.

I loooove getting dressed up. I will for dances or fancy events and I like to get ready with a friend. It's lots of fun and you look great!

that's exactly how it felt! like I was a grownup for a few hours. gots lots of compliments from people that never saw me dressed up before, which was like almost everyone i know.

Wearing suits is awesome, and I think it's super comfortable. :D I don't go to that many formal events though.

It's nice every once in awhile, but I really don't care to get overly dressed up too often.

Dressing up is fun sometimes. I like to wear button-downs with suspenders.

I loved it as a young kid, and aged out of it as an older kid/teen. Recently though, I've begun to love it again. Even just semi-formally wearing a dress for fun or something.. it just feels good and I'm unsure why I ever disliked it. That being said, I still love my sweats. :P

In England we're kind of required to wear formal uniform so getting dressed up is pretty much a daily thing and it isn't all that great.

The part I don't like too much is wearing heels. They can get uncomfortable after a while.
