I am 15, I hit puberty before most of my friends but I have noticed that I have more body hair than all of them, I see them in the locker room or swimming and they all don't have very much hair other than around their penises, I have it on my stomach and it's spreading up to my chest. Can I stop this? Is it normal? If I shave it will it be worse?

Heredity and hormones are going to make u as hairy as u are going to be, there is no way to stop it. Shaving or ripping it out by the roots is the only way to get it gone and it will come back...It can be really sexy to a lot of girls and guys, so no worries...someone will get real horny over a hairy beast....go with it!

If you want to, shave it! I have body hair and i hate it! I shave my pubes, stomach/chest, and my back. I will never regret it! Best thing I have ever done.

Well the only real effective, guaranteed, cheapest way of slowing it down or reducing it, is either shaving or waxing. Some people develop much faster than others. It's just a part of puberty.

it depends if you want to shave it or wax it. some guys like being hairy. i like being smooth. it is all about preference

Get one of these. Seriously!

Shaving with a blade can create other problems (red bumps, cuts, razorburn, ingrown hairs). This groomer will trim down to the skin and the regrowth won't be so uncomfortable.

I have the same problem and this groomer solves my problem. I use it on my chest/stomach, my upper legs, and my butt. I also it with the guard on my pubes which trims them down evenly.

It's up to you if you want to shave your belly/chest, some guys do it, but I think it's a hassle, and isn't worth it. It takes a while to get a close shave because it's such a big area, and two days later you'll have stubble again, so if you don't stay on top of it almost every day it's not like you're going to be smooth. Also, chest hair is just a part of life. Most guys end up getting it at some point, and I think it's better and easier to just embrace it. I got it younger than most of my friends did too, but it's nothing to be embarrassed about -- it's manly :P

You could always get the follicles removed :)

You can just shave it. There's this thing that says that if you shave it becomes more prominent when it grows back but in my experience it isn't true.

Having hair makes you seem more mature than your counterparts, and therefore you will seem a tad superior to them. It's a good thing, honestly, but, if you don't like it, just shave it off, or trim it. PM me if you want more help

That'll probably happen to them too sometime, I'd say it's up to you if you want to shave your body hair but I just trim. I'm 15 too and I have more body hair than most guys my age, but in the locker room you notice that it's all different from one guy to the next, so don't worry too much about it.

I've also been ahead of many friends in puberty. They'll b hairy soon enough. As far as stopping it I really don't think u can.

Genes :,( they can be horrible things, but we wouldn't be here without them, I too got the hairy genes, not on my chest though. Just everywhere else ahha!
No you can't stop it, or even postpone it, they will catch up and they know it :) saving isn't the better idea either I don't think, it would become something that you would have to do regularly, and would be hard to stop when you wanted to, because of the awkward stubble stage. Waxing is a better option, and is what i did, though it too has an awkward stage because our pubertal skin is sensitive, it takes a few waxes to get used to it.

It's normal dude, the best option is to just ride it out🚗
