Mum bought a variety of the British-made ones this time (Walkers). And I have to say, the Brits know how to make crisps, they are so much better than the local ones. I think the only ones left are 'prawn cocktail' flavour.

Not really. You can taste the spicy tomato sauce in them, but the prawn flavour is a bit off. Rather, a good lot off, lol. Fortunately, there were only two packages of this flavour in the box, and I suspect that the second one will stay there and go in the bin. Or be saved for the apocalypse when we are willing to eat anything.

There are some things I eat, but don't expect much 'quality' from them. Crisps is one of them. Deep fried potatoes, salt, artificial flavoring and coloring, all in a foil packet with a long expiration date....mmmmm. :P

To me, a lot of these things don't taste bad per se, I just don't have the imagination to see how it tastes like what they claim it tastes like.

Of course if you could get true prawn flavor from a crisp, why would anyone buy expensive prawns??

Perhaps this is why my favourites are vinegar flavour (Salt & Vinegar??? - but they all have salt), and joppiesaus flavour. Those are easy to put the real thing into a crisp. The others all seem to have a bit of a chemical taste. I am still addicted though.
