I only play the piano. I cannot really play the guitar because of the way that you fret, it causes my double-jointed fingers to lock up quite often and I could pretty much only play basic notes. I self-taught myself the piano because it's quite easy and the guitar was looking to be fairly easy until I encountered the problems. I can also play the clarinet but I haven't in a few years. I took a few drum lessons when I was in year 7 too but didn't learn much.

I play guitar, uke, and a very little bit of keyboard and drums, but I think the electric violin is the coolest instrument in the world. Go buy an electric violin. Now.

i've played piano since i was 8, and guitar since i was like 11. i love playing both, but tend to do guitar more because i find it easier to play guitar and sing at same time than play piano and sing lol

I don't/ can't play really but a friend helped me learn a song on bass guitar. I really enjoyed it but don't have the time to learn.

The only instrument I can play is the recorder xD I wish I could play another!

Playing the piano seems to be relaxing  I believe that if you have been able to learn to play the guitar, you can play any instrument you want

I play guitar. I played the saxophone for a few years in elementary school but didn't stick with it -- I've always wished I had.

Gosh, I play... piano, tenor and alto saxophone, bassoon, used to play trumpet. All I'm missing is a string instrument :P. But yeah bassoon is really my thing right now.

Piano would be easier.
I play cello, but it's (imo) incredibly intricate, complex, and takes starting-out in childhood to learn properly. Also expensive as hell, But it's the most beautiful sounding instrument ever created (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qe2G6Vs1V_Q).

I've always had an interest in the piano, but never got a piano or ever got into it really. I think it'd be cool though.

I highly suggest piano, I just started on christmas and so far I'm loving it (word to McDonalds) I'm self taught and that's the way i like it but getting a teacher would probably be the best course if you can get one.

I took piano my last year of high school. Before then, I had never played an instrument, so it was ALL new to me. I found it kinda easy when I was just using one hand, but when we got to where we had to use both hands, that's when it got hard lol
I eventually did get used to playing with both hands, and I'm sure that if I kept practicing I would have been able to get better at it.
So yeah, maybe you can try piano. It was hard for me at first (because everything was new to me), but I eventually got the hang of it lol

Hi Angel, my favourite instrument is the electric bass I play it since 4 years ago and it's so cool, I recommend to you! Can we exchange your guitar lessons for my bass lessons?
Nice to meet you :D

Without reading the thread.

Harmonica - It's easily portable
Piano - if you like to sing as well a good idea to learn also so much to learn and different styles of music to play.
Drums - So few people appreciate :( but it's a vital part of a band and learning to play a rhythym driven instrument will improve your playing on all other instruments especially lead instruments like a guitar.

Bass, hands down. You can just chill in the back, keeping everyone together or you could rock out les claypool style with a sick slap riff

I play the viola and I'm learning the guitar. I think it's easy to switch from one string instrument to another. Piano is also a fun one to play

I play bass (not an expert though) and very little piano. For learning purposes I used anything I could get my hands on on the internet. But it depends on which instrument you are planning to play I suppose. If it is a common instrument like the bass just search the internet but if it is something like a bassoon or some instrument that I havent seen in real life yet I would suggest the place who sells you that :) they should have an idea

If you play guitar and are looking for another instrument, I would reccomend one of two instruments.
1: Bass
The bass is bassically (See what i did there...) the bottom four strings of a guitar (EADG) tuned an octave down. If you are reading sheet music, the notes on the notation will be different (Its written in Bass Clef), but if you read tabs you'll be fine.
2: Mandolin
Ah the Mandolin. It is very high pitch (an octave above guitar). It include 4 pairs of strings (tuned GDAE). Its the same tuning as a fiddle or violin.

Refrences: I have been playing guitar for 8 years, Mandolin for 2 and Bass for 6
