So for years now (well, like four) whenever I'm masturbating and about to cum, I always tense up and hold the cum in, so it doesn't shoot out. I still get the exact same sensation as I would if I let it come out, but I deliberately don't let it come out. I guess it's mostly because cleaning it up is always annoying, since I usually cum a fair bit and need quite a few tissues to clean it up when it goes over my hands, legs, stomach and penis.

The only times I actually let myself cum fully is when I do it in the shower (very rarely) or when I cum into something (shirt, sock, etc). Only problem with this is if I'm jerking off to something on my phone I can't hold the phone, jerk off, and hold my 'cumrag' at the same time, so I guess this is why I don't let myself fully cum.

I read all the posts on here where guys talk about cleaning up their cum, but I rarely do it cause it's such a tedious hassle. I feel weird for not letting myself cum properly. Am I the only one that does this?

I'm not sure about weird but I have seen many comments to the effect that it is not healthy to cum whilst preventing the cum from coming out because of the strain it places on your internal plumbing. Also, for me at least, an orgasm is better if, now matter how precisely you were controlling the run up to it, when it starts to happen you just let it take over. Personally I would look for alternatives for example:

1. If you are sitting you can watch porn on a PC or you can prop a phone or tablet up against something so you don't have to hold it. That gives you one hand to stroke and one had to hold a rag of some sort.

2. If you are lying on your bed on your back instead of having your penis pointing mostly upwards (i.e. nearly at right angles to your body) you could try having it closer to horizontal so it points towards your chest. The stomach/chest area is quite big, so you'd be unlikely to miss it, and is easier to clean. That's what I do, but then I like feeling the warm splashes as it lands on me.

3. Another option for lying in bed is to lie on your side. If you're right handed you'd lie on your left side so your right arm is free to move more easily. You place a rag or something similar on the bed next to you and when you get close to cumming you point your penis down towards it (you have to roll so you're somewhere between being on your side and on your front). That still leaves your left hand free to hold a phone. If you have trouble with the screen switching between portrait and landscape see if there an option to lock the rotation.
