Is it Selfish to ask a Sophmore to prom?

I'm a junior and she's a sophomore. Is it fair to take her to prom? By the time she's a senior she would have gone 3 times and might be bored of it.

I don't see how that could be selfish either way. You have the right to ask anyone, and she has the right to go to three if she's asked. Let her make that decision about whether it's boring when she get's to that point in her life.
