Sooo theres a dance....

Well theres a dance at my school and I'm gonna ask my bestfriend to the dance cause I reaaaaaallly like her but I dont know if she likes me... Sooooo I'm gonna take my chances and ask her to the dance. But I'm not sure if this is a good way to ask her to the dance lol. :whoops:

I'm gonna lipsync the song "Green light" by John Legend to her at her house when she comes back off of her daily run, (lol) and her parents are gonna give her a green light. :P and I'll have a poster that says "Give me the green-light to the dance?" so like she'll have a green light and if she gives it to me and yeah you know the rest "it'll make sense if you heard the song" but honestly it seems like a bad idea cause im afraid she wont like it. So should I go with this or just a plain old poster that some cute saying on it lol.

If she's into that kind of stuff, go for it. Just make sure you don't take it too far.

Personally I'd just straight up ask her, at the end of the day it's only a dance.
Something like this would have the potential to put her off if it's not the mushy kinda stuff she's into.

If you want to go for it, I'm not sure what your relationship with her is like, or what she's like, so if she likes that kind of thing then go for it, but personally I would just ask her. Either way, good luck :)

This idea sounds fun, and doesn't necessarily suggest romance, giving you options in terms of revealing your feelings. Give it a go, and when you feel ready, maybe during the dance, or maybe later, you could look into explicitly telling her your feelings. Good luck.
