I really just listen to one band. I've been listening to only one band for two years now. Granted I don't listen to music as often as others do but it's still fucking crazy. Are there others who do this? I feel pretty stupid to be honest.
And the band is Linkin Park. I don't want to argue about how good or bad Linkin Park is though. I love them to death but I need to broaden my godamn taste and I don't know how.

I listen mostly to 5-10 bands daily. I don't think there's too many people who listen to only one band.
If you want to expand your test, just start looking for new music. YouTube is a great place to check some videoclips.

I try dude, I don't find anything appealing.
I just don't feel any emotions listening to bands and music like I used to, I think I'm dead on the inside currently lol.

I think Spotify is great for discovering new music, especially given a band you absolutely love. You could start by playing a Spotify radio based off of Linkin Park, or maybe based off of one of your favorite songs. Even just going to Linkin Park's profile on Spotify will give you a list of similar artists. Once you start broadening your horizons and figuring out what genre(s) you like, you can find playlists based on that, or radios.
FYI, the "related artists" on the Linkin Park profile are:
Papa Roach
Limp Bizkit
Korn
Alien Ant Farm
Three Days Grace
P.O.D.
lostprophets
Disturbed
Dead By Sunrise
Hoobastank
Nickelback
Thirty Seconds To Mars
System Of A Down
Saliva
Staind
Deftones
Chevelle
Slipknot
Breaking Benjamin
3 Doors Down

start asking friends and family what bands they listen to. or just start listening to other music until you find other things you like

I get "obsessed" or infatuated with a band and listen to them to death quite often. Listening to a band exclusively usually doesn't last for two years though, maybe a few weeks or so. I've been mostly listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers for the past few years, but have been listening to a lot of other stuff mixed in with it.

I totally understand you. I have periods of time where I can't listen to anything other than Silverstein. It's been happening for like four years on and off but it sometimes goes away but then I always go back to them. :P

I can completely get that I'm a huge fan of linkin park I always go back to them when I'm down or happy it's weird. Some of the bands that have been listed are similar to them, papa roach are good but I only like there early stuff, silverstein are really good but I'm only just getting into them. 3 days grace are another band you might like. Staind also is good. Just type in nu metal on Google and you'll fine something.

Yoy cannot just broaden your tastes - you like what you like and that is it until you find something else you like. be it a similar band or something so far different but something you like. You could try a random search ask friends and maybe actively listen to a few different tracks by other bands.

I gotta agree with you, Linkin Park is a great band. Given that they have such a unique sound to them I can see why you are having trouble finding other bands. I get in phases where I'll only listen to one specific artist as well.

Thanks you guys! By the way, they did nu-metal only for their first two albums and I'm not super fond of that genre. I'll try new bands of-course. It's just nice to know that I'm not some stupid fangirl haha.

Tbh sometimes i get so crazy that i start listening to 1D lol . LP is my all time fav. You can try Green Day, 30 seconds to mars or one republic or maroon 5. Green day have great lyrics. If you're into boy bands, 5SOS are really good. Also, passenger makes nice acoustic and folk, if you're open to it.
