Two days ago I was sitting in class and my right testicle started aching. It was not an unbearable pain just more an annoying throb type thing. Well after two days it hasn't stopped. It's pretty much happens all throughout the day but I don't notice it at night. I'm 90% sure that it's not torsion (as the pain isn't unbearable and it has been going on for two days so I think my ball would be dead by now  ). I hoping it'll just subside on its own, but id appreciate some advice. It looks and feels normal, and the pain is just in the groin area (from my balls to a little up my crotch, kinda like a pressure). Thanks in advance.

After taking a hot shower, I see a medium sized lump on my right ball... It's really squishy like it's not even there . Kinda feels like water. It's not painful to touch but the constant ache is still there.

I recommend seeing a doctor. I wouldn't brush something like that off, because while it may not be unbearable now, you don't know what that will turn into if you just let it go. Take care of it sooner rather than later.

Some info I found online:

A testicular mass, or lump, may be located in one or both testicles, and is a fairly common condition. Lumps can occur in both men and teenage boys. Testicular lumps are signs of problems with the testicles. They may be caused by an injury, but they can also indicate a serious underlying medical problem.

Not all lumps indicate the presence of testicular cancer. Nevertheless, a medical professional should examine any changes in the testicles, especially lumps or swelling.

You should visit your doctor soon.

Hi mate,

The pain doesn't have to be unbearable for it to be a torsion. It also makes sense that if you're asleep for you not to notice the pain - so your point isn't that valid! ;)

There are many things which could cause testicular pain. Some are more benign than others, but at the end of the day; pain in itself is a warning that something is the matter. There are many things which could cause your presentation and a simple search can provide a few explanations for you.

When you visit your doctor, they'll probably be able to tell you what it is on the history and examination alone. The important short term thing to exclude would be torsion, as you mentioned. But things like a tumour/cancer, fluid-filled regions (called a hydrocele) or dilated veins (varicocele) should be considered too. Of course, infections like epididymo-orchitis should also be looked into. (You can google search for further information on each of these.)

At the end of the day, the suggestion is for you to go and see your doctor for their opinion!

All the best!

Whether it is simply a simple matter, or not, its best to see your doctor. Better safe than sorry.

just the lump alone would have me making a booking to see the doctor asap let alone the pain. no offense ma but your crazy for not going to see a doctor when the pain lasted more than one day

i had this.
mine went away after a few days. i was scared it was torsion. it must have just been some infection or something.

If you're concerned, go to a doctor.

Hey
This could be something or nothing. It could be: Torsion, Cancer, Hydrocele. The lump could be your vas deferens. However, visit a GP/ Doctor. And please tell me, what it is.
PM me if you want to talk,
VC

For those who wanted to know, I went to my doctor, it was super awkward cause she told me to stand up and pull down my underwear and started pushing and feeling my balls I got a boner which made it even worse lol .... She said she didn't feel anything abnormal but said if the pain didn't go away in another week go to a urologist.

Oh damn, sorry to hear about the boner! It totally happens though, upon contact with your junk. :P

Hope you get better, my brother! :)
