So like I shave once a week (my pubes) and when I do the place where penis meets the abdomen or whatever I feel like sort of slight pulling. The hair is not that thick but I still can't understand why it happens. Is itnormal? BTW I am using a new razor so its not that the blade is too old is or whatever

it could have something to do with the way and direction the hair is growing in relation to the way you are shaving. i shave in one direction, downwards, and i dont feel any pulling or anything like that.

do you shave from the abdomen/where the growth starts to the penis all in one downward movement? I tried many directions but it still is a bit pulling feeling

Soak/shower yourself in warm to hot water. It will open the hair cuticle, I find this method efficient because the hairs will come right off when you use your razor.

yes, i start at the abdomen and do one downward movement and i dont have any problems. but i also do it in the shower do my hair is much softer and easier to deal with.

I do it after showering but still it hurts a bit. The area where the penis and scrotum meet the body. You know, near the base of the shaft. Does hair grow in that fold of skin for you?

Maybe you should shave more often to get your pubic area used to it.
