Been with my boyfriend for just over a year...Been happy but think we're both at the point where we're ready to go further, and finally do IT. A little nervous but more so thinking more about pills, condoms, STIs, etc...Have had the birds and the bees talk so am not completely clueless, but how was it for most of you the first time you did it? Also what do most of you do for birth control?

Congrats on the one year and thinking about taking the next step. It is def very exciting for sure. The first time is usually a bit awkward but since you both have been together for a while it should feel natural in that awkwardness. As for it physically...it feels amazing and takes a bit of getting used to in the way of him being inside you. I am on the pill and encourage condom use to stay safe to some degree from STIs.

Till now I only had once sex and it was very exciting and I hope there will come more in the future.

I'm glad you are enjoying it, as far as the pill goes how long have you been on the pill and how far along were you? You may want to consult a source like this: http://teenhealthsource.com/birthcontrol/pill-details/ before you switch to the pill alone.

I am also a Virgin but I would suggest using a condom and the pill to give you as much protection as possible.
