I wanted to have sex, but what's more effective a condom or the Pill? I just really don't want to end up getting pregnant. And if I take the pill there are loads of side effects.

Hey CutiePie. As far as i know, Pills are for "Non-Pregnantcy" and Condom is for Protecting from giving viruses or what ever you wanna call them. use both is what i would recommend (I'm Virgin)

my gf is on the pill. we were both tested before we started dating so we dont use a condom, but tbh it is in all reality safer to use one even if you know they are clean plus, there are times when the pill, for whatever reason, does not work

Abstinence is NOT a contraceptive.
I think it doesn't hurt to use both If you're in a standing relationship.

Its just safer to use one there is always a slim change you could get pregnant

the best protection is a condom not just from pregnacy but from stds but it dosent hurt to use both for added protection from pregnacy

though the pill has its side effects it is a good source of protection, and though condoms tend to break, they too are good sources of protection, but a combination of the two will decrease any chances you would have of getting pregnant or incurring any disease. its a toss up and a lot to think about, so do your homework so that you can make a more informed decision.

My gf uses the pill and I'm not a dad so I'd say they're pretty effective. She did have some issues with side effects but the doctor just gave her a different brand and it all worked out pretty quick. If you're really paranoid or just want to be extra safe it wouldn't kill to use both.
