A while ago it said you had ot wait 30 seconds, now you have to wait 45?

Is this to speed up the server, b/c i use it a lot.

I've never seen those messages before but yea it could be to speed up the server.

I guess so thats what it said for me also and i noticed it said 30 before the new server

I would assume so. To put less stress on it during searches idk. Unforunately youre just going to have to suck it up and wait an extra 15 seconds.

It's not limiting me lol. But searches take up a lot of server load, so it's most probably a short fix to ease it off a bit.

Well, I've been making some changes. From what I have concluded, no one should be searching for something more than once every 45 seconds because information that you have to search for should be important to you in some way, which means you shouldn't have to do another search until you've read and contributed all that you could have to that selected topic in multiple threads.

There's no need to search even more than once a minute, and yes, I'm trying to save some of the server load since I have enabled immediate updates for read threads, forums, and attachments. I have also pumped the posts per thread page up to 20 instead of just 10, to give readers a broader range of reading before replying or going to the next page.

At any rate, 15 more seconds shouldn't have an impact on those who have been using the search feature responsibly.

just wait a while and keep refreshing the page it is just only 15 sec anyways.

15 seconds isn't much longer... but hey... The amount of times i've tried to do a new search and its said 15 or less seconds left... Its actually alot Lol
