Weird Message

I was merging some posts and on both occasions it showed a blank white screen with this message:


Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 182453 bytes) in /home/virtualt/public_html/forums/includes/class_datastore.php on line 742

What is that about!?

I just changed the datastore cache system, so let me know if this happens again.

I tried to merge two posts and was able to reproduce that same error.

Edit: but it still merges the posts.

I just tested again and I got the same result.

I had the same thing, i brought it up with kiros and he said:

Jack: As for that other error, that is a memory issue. It's either caused by the size of the image you wanted to preview or by the server. If the image you were trying to preview was small in both size and file size, then I should look into changing the file caching system.

Apparently, it's deeper than just images. I'll look into that.

it dosent bother me, on my forums, after you do everything, you get a page that says "continue"
