Hey guys, I traded phones with my sister after she wouldn't stop complaining about the headphone jack not working, since my headphones are bluetooth it's not much of an issue for me, but as it turns out I'm enjoying the windows phone more than I thought I would. It's actually pretty nicely done.

What do you guys think about it? My phone is a Nokia Lumia Cyan (cheap phone, I know)

I had a Lumia 520. It was good and cheap. I've started to use Android recently and I love it.

I think with phones its more what you are used to and what you do with it, but that said its always good to try others and great to help out your sister.

Windows 8 seems to be more suited as a tablet/phone OS, but it still works as a decent PC OS.
On that note, I haven't ever used a Windows phone.. All I've ever used are Android stuff

I assume you mean possibly the 520? It's not a bad phone but it's not my preferred one. I have experience with the 630, and it's much better in my opinion. Much easier to use as well. Although they are cheap, they are better than nothing. It's true Android is better because they have been working with phones for awhile and Windows is on the beginning steps but Windows is progressing

My old phone was an HTC Desire, It's a great phone, but it is really outdated.

It also makes sense considering Android is running on a linux kernel, people are more free to try and break it and then Google can receive info on where they may want to fix, or improve things. Considering linux is Opensource.

Windows 8 seems to be more suited as a tablet/phone OS, but it still works as a decent PC OS.

They really did well with it, it's a bit awkward at first but once you figure it out it's very nice. I also really like the more consistent graphics theme it aims for, less cringing on my part when switching between apps (Not games).

My old phone was an ancient Android HTC Desire, It's a great phone, but it is really outdated.

It also makes sense considering Android is running on a linux kernel, people are more free to try and break it and then Google can receive info on where they may want to fix it. So on the android side of things, there is more room for bug-fixing.
