I wrote a suicide note

So I've been feeling really depressed and just down for a bunch of reasons. It got to the point that I wrote a suicide note. I don't think I'm going to use it any time soon, but there have been times when I did think that. How do I tell someone, like my parents?

There's not really a formula for this, it depends on your parents. Try to catch them at a time where they're not very busy, and not doing anything in particular. Not a lot of people like it when others beat around the bush, so try to get straight to the point. Just say: "I have a suicide note." And everything should come into place.

Kind of in a similar situation, though I haven't written a suicide note so far. I'd rather not have my parents know I don't really want to live my life anymore, but I'm pretty sure that at some point I'm gonna (have to) tell them. In which case I'll probably write a letter. I don't know yet.

It depends if they are open and willing to talk. They do love you, even though they might not shoe it all the to.e. But it would hurt them deeply if you committed suicide.
