So my school is switching to a new schedule system, this was explained to us today, and we will be having a trial run soon, the teacher say it's going to be possibly the most gruesome two weeks in our lives as it's only a trial run. the check in system is already in use with some classes and the new sysyem pretty much involves that everybody has an unpredictable schedule, and it will constantly change, not to mention we won't have an assigned teacher teaching us, our teachers will also change as our schedules change daily.
The article on my school's website:

This is actually a smart idea. I hope they go through with it.

I hope it works for the students but they have tried something similar here in the UK just a few schools and it did not really work.

In theory, it's not a bad idea. But it depends on the student and how much they are going to commit to using their time wisely. It teaches responsibility but if you were like me in high school, I probably wouldn't have done shit.
Honestly, it doesn't seem much different from a university schedule to me, although that doesn't vary nearly as much when it comes to staff. They should have certain staff dedicated to teaching certain groups of students at certain times, it just varies on what time each day. In university here, you have certain courses that are at certain times but you plan your own schedule.
It would take some work to get used to. Just be glad it isn't like a real university schedule where you end up with three or four hours between classes on some days. 'Cause that sucks, lol.
