I have no idea where to post this, but I need to talk to someone, or at least I hope there is someone else who has to deal with this... I wet the bed... I'm 13 and still wet the bed like a baby.

As this could easily be a medical issue,
Family and Friends  VT General Hospital
It could be because of a physical or psychological condition. If this is happening somewhat frequently, I'd bring it up with your doctor.

nothing to worry about, there are plenty of steps you can do, you may or may not have heard already such as not drinking anything like an hour or two before you sleep

I too had a few episodes of bed wetting whn I was 15 whr I dreamt that I was in a loo and partly did the job on the bed....Also check ur blood sugar, Diabetes makes u urine more.
Until 14 I had poo accidents too..Twice whn I was 13-14 y/o while riding home frm school in my aunts car with my older (15y+16+13) girl cousins I got a stomach ache and had to go to the bathroom real bad...We were in a massive traffic jam....I told my aunt and guess what she did????
She got me to take my school uniform pants off leaving me in my briefs and got me to sit on a old newspaper on the car seat..to protect the car seat from expected mess. Then she told me that if I really have to "go" to let it "go " in my undies.!!!....Well a bit of "it" actually happened and it smelled too...the 2 girls giggled.....
At home aunt handed me over to their "nanny" who got me to complete my "big job" and gave me a wash down there..fortunately my pants were saved and I rode home commando.

I'm sorry Sara; it must be very tough to have to face that and deal with it.
Be assured that there are many others here who have issues like yours; although they might not be brave enough to admit it like you've done.
No one here is a doctor....and while we can offer a shoulder to lean on and perhaps share experiences....we really can't advise you medically.
Like so many things in adolescence.....it usually changes for the better as your body grows. I hope that's the case for you.
In the meantime....it could be worse; eh? Stand tough....Your real friends will understand. We all have issues.

I did this until I was about 12 or 13. I just never drink much water before bed, and I always go to the bathroom two or three times before going to bed. You will probably grow out of it, but if continues for a longer period of time, I'd see a doctor.

Thanks for the replies! I have seen my doc about it... she keeps saying I'll just grow out of it, my little sister did like 2 years ago but not me yet. I have also tried the nothing to drink 2-3 hours before bed with little success

I thought about your post while lying in bed last night...and the way you phrase that got me thinking.
Is that what Mom and Dad say to you.....that you wet the bed like a baby? Gawd I hope not. Such a terrible thing for you to hear and process.
You don't wet "like a baby". You wet because you are a 13 year old who has some sort of issue. A 13 y/o issue. Not a baby issue.
Please don't put yourself down about this...or allow others (like parents) to put you down. You're doing just fine; thank you very much. You just happen to have an issue.....like everyone else has issues.
OK? Be strong. Stand up straight. Tummy in! Be proud of the great person you are!

I'm sorry Sara. It happens to me too and I'm 13. It happens with my younger brothers too. My dad and the doc say it runs in some families and generally goes away at some point during puberty. I hope that happens soon to both of us!

I haven't, can't you just like pee before bed? Sorry that's probably really shitty advice.
