I'm 14 and I have visible armpit hair, but it's very thin and I don't like it. Is it likely it will get thicker? I also am curious as to when it is likely my happy trail will get thicker because it's fairly thin yet dark. Also, when did you start growing armpit hair and when did it get thicker same with happy trail. just curious

I am in the exact same boat as you. I have armpit hair but its not that thick, I wish it were thicker. I also have a happy trail but its extremely light.

All about genes dude, look at your family and see how hairy they are, it's a bit hard with you mum, but your dad could give clues. Some guys have almost to hair on their front all through their lives, and others have hair everywhere!

Everybody goes through at a different rate, so it'll depend as to when, but since I was 14 I noticed mine got thicker. My happy trail is still very thin though.

It will defiantly get thicker, but personally I hate happy trails and I'm lucky I don't have one

I got armpit hair when I was 14 and it was peach fuzz with probably like 5 dark strands. I didn't start getting a happy trail until I was maybe 16 or 17 and even then it was really light like just a shadow.

Exactly the same here, my stomach is quite hairy - I wouldn't say I have a defined snail trail like my mate because hair just covers my stomach.

I'm not a fan of it but shaving is way too much effort, if I meet someone and they would rather I shave then I might.

Would rather just a snail trail in all honesty but can't change that

I don't think that shaving is really worth because its quite a lot of effort, but its your choice.

I don't really have much armpit hair yet so i'm in the same sort of position! I've probably got 7 dark strands and the rest is all fine.

I'm not worried about it at all. I'm sure that I'll probably have armpit hair sometime over the summer. I only started growing pubic hair about 4 or 5 months ago.

Yes it'll get thicker, I was in the same boat as you not so long ago, and was happy I was developing, that was for a year, now my legs look like a gorilla I have a massive bush or armpit hair and yep my happy trail is out of control. Being hairy really isn't that great, you'll find out if you get like me

Hey, you're exactly like me. I've got some dense hairs, which make it look like I have loads, but I don't. The happy trail, if you want it to get darker, shave it off, then it will come back darker. Your hairs will get darker and denser, don't worry.

Shaving won't make it come back darker.

I think armpit hair is probably cooler than pubic hair. I can't wait to be able to wear a tank top and show off my armpits LOL.

I have very little hair and it has not changed much in the last 3 years.
My armpit hair is a small patch that is thin hair. I have no real happy trail :[
My dad is hairy but my brother and I seem about the same so I am not freaking out yet.

My doctor told me that when kids start puberty late they generally go through it faster than those that start early. I'm thinking that she was correct because I went from having absolutely no pubic hair to a decent patch around the base of my dick. I'm starting to get a little bit more hair now still not very noticeable though.

Both started out light for me but ended up being a fair amount. Having hair isn't all the great in my opinion and while I don't shave it, I do trim to keep it all looking neat

I'm 16 and I still don't have much armpit hair/happy trail/pubes. but neither does my dad & most of the girls I've been with seem to like it better like that. no worries if it does or doesn't, if it doesn't, that's just one less thing you have to worry about trimming

Being hairy is that amazing to be honest, I used to want to get hairier but then I did so, and now I just shave it all off.
Your armpit hair will get thicker, and you will get more probably. The same with the happy trail.
I started armpit hair at around 13/14, and happy trail at same time. They're both still developing, but I shave my armpits, and keep the happy trail.

Give it time. It will probably get darker and thicker, but hair varies a lot from guy to guy. My pit hair didn't get thick until about last year.

Don't worry dude!
It'll get thicker all right! I'm 16 and I have them nearly fully-grown and quite thick to the extent that I have to shave at least once a month.
At 14, I had them but they were quite thin, as you described. So, don't worry, you're growing fine. One or two years at the most and you'll have them just like me.

Be happy man you have one!!! I don't even have a trail. I wish I did because they're hot!! My armpit hair is pretty decent tho.

I grew armpit hair probably before anything else happened and by the end of Middle School (14/15 years old) it was pretty thick and noticeable. However, I am 17 now and have just begun forming a happy trail. It is thin but dark too but doesnt quite reach my belly button yet.
