Okay so I'm getting ill. I'm in like that pre-stage of illness. Does anyone know what to do to prevent the illness? I'm probably having a flu.

Take vitamin C, some cold medication if you feel you need it, and take it easy. The medicine may make you feel better, but that's just the meds suppressing the symptoms, and rest and relaxation is still needed to actually recover.

Some people suggest sucking on zinc lozenges. I've never been able to decide whether it really
helps.

Exercise (in moderation) is something that can prevent you from getting ill. But I think that if you're already in the pre-stage before the illness you can't really prevent it from coming. In the meanwhile; make sure you drink a lot of fluids especially water (preferable warm water) to help clear up any congestion, stay warm and get lots of sleep/rest. If it gets worse then I suggest you see your doctor. Hope you get better soon~

if you've never exercised before DONT start right when you are getting sick LOL
drink plenty of fluids, maybe have some soup or health foods, and get lenty of sleep.

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't need any "long term" things. I wanted something that will help me not get sick right now. I exercise a lot, I've been doing that for 2.5 years and I play basketball almost everyday (now I obviously don't). I drink a lot of water because I'm on creatine so I easily pull over a gallons of water a day.

then ease up on working out so hard for a day or two and get some extra rest.
I use creatine too btw

Yea I basically didn't do any physical activity since I wrote this post, made sure to stay in a really warm room curled in a blanket to sweat and eat lots of fruit with vitamin C. It seems like I helped it a lot and I don't have fever or anything like that so it turned out quite good!
