What do you think about drones and their potential? I've heard that in future drones will be able to do all the "dirty jobs" like animal counting, searching for lost people etc.

Great idea and I would think new innovative uses and enhanced tech on the way.
Maybe where now Police helicopters track cars etc drones can be used.

Much like many other inventions, they are a medium with much potential. On their own, I don't have much of an opinion; it is the person controlling it that makes it interesting/useful.

I think they could replace some especially dangerous tasks.
I don't want them to be ubiquitous, though. automating everything just kills jobs and means more cash for the corporations to line their pockets

You have very different concepts of "dirty jobs" than me.

I dont think drones can completely replace humans since if you were lost, you probably wont feel very well/safe if a drone finds you.

Kill jobs. Kill corporations. We don't need either.

So does the US government.

Depends on the guy and the drone.
