View Full Version : How straight forward can I be when asking her out?

Hey!
So I've finally mustered up courage and found a good time to ask her out. Only problem is, I got no idea how to act casual about it. I found a time where I might be alone with her after class, I haven't invited her or anything it's just my assumption. Anyways, it's after a written test. Could I just greet her, ask her how she did on the test, and simply ask her out? We never talk, I only introduced myself to her once before. Or do I have to talk to her some more before I pop the question?

Everybody is different tbh, some people go on dates to get to know people so you could just be casual as hell and do it that way. Me, personally, I would get to know her better first because I'm an awkward as hell person and would find nothing to talk about if I just randomly asked someone I didn't know out.

I think you have to decide that when you speak with her really. and dont overthink the whole deal.

I agree with James.
It seems like you're overthinking this. I understand that you're nervous, excited, and probably a bunch of other things over this, but you're just making it harder on yourself by worrying so much. Just go up to her and ask her on a date. You can ask how she's doing or make some small talk if you'd like and feel comfortable doing so, but you don't need to get to know her before you ask her out, you can do that on that if you go on the date :)
Good luck!

Yeah, I guess you and James are both right ^^. When I first introduced myself to her I was like: "I'll just do it" and that was that. Tho it was abit awkward hehe. Thanks for the advice!

^^^Good advice. Just say it casually, ask her if she wants to meet for lunch or hang out or something. It is only a big deal if you make it a big deal. Hope it goes well!
