I've recently run across a band called Aloud. They're a local indie/alternative band from Boston who've been active for a while but who I've only just discovered. Their YouTube channel is below.

Another, considerably older band would be Rash of Stabbings, who worked out of Providence and toured RI and Mass in the mid-late 80's. One of my favourites by them is below:
