how do I tell mom

Okay so basically I'm pretty close to my parents but we don't talk about puberty or the stuff down there. Now the thing is that I need a circumcision and therefore I need to tell my parents. How should I go about it? I'm shy about such stuff so I find it difficult to talk to my parents about this. Please help!

I dont know why you think you need circumcised but in any case usually a doctor will be consulted. If you are having a problem with anything then I am sure your parents will understand and help with the doctor appointments.

My advice is to really think about whether or not you want this surgical procedure done on you. I mean, it has its benefits, but it's a major thing.. If you are sure you want it, I would just talk with them straight on about it.

because my foreskin is tight and I've tried to loosen it by stretching, but it hasn't helped much. I'm not too sure myself and that's why I want a doctor's opinion

I was exactly the same, what I did was I wrote them a letter explaining the situation, I'm going for my appointment in a week

Maybe when you have ur physical u could speak to a dctir unless you think it's urgent. For your case I've heard of special lotions to help loosen the skin so you don't have to get circumcised

Yes, let your parents know you want to see your doc, let him help u decide the best course. it is serious surgery and you should be very confident it is what u want for life. I sure wish I had had the choice!! the guys I know that have a foreskin have an incredible feeling with that natural skin and lube sliding over their head and they had to stretch theirs for a couple of years to get it that way, but would NEVER get cut now!

I had the same situation but if it's a need. Then u need to tell them. It may be hard but it apparently what needs done

If you can bring yourself to tell them you need to see a doctor, then you can have the doctor tell
them that you need a circumcision - if that's what you need. And I don't think it's as serious as
some here suggest - there are guys on these forums who have had it done as teens and can
tell you more about it than those who are uncut or those who were cut at birth.

You mom wants the better for you so just tell her that you need a circumcision, no big deal !!!
