Need help telling someone something.

I've liked a guy for roughly seven months.
I had a conversation with him on ask.fm, or whatever it's called. But it was anonymous, and he didn't know it was me.
The conversation is as follows:
Me: I love you. The fact that you barely notice me other than an exchange of a few words is indescribably painful.
Him: Like one of my pictures on Instagram, so I know who you are; ) i love when people ask me stuff like this
Me: I hope you don't mind. I'd rather not reveal who I am, 'cause then it'd be kinda embarrasing. :3
Him: Yeah I know and i get it.. But I hope someday I can figure out who you are; )
Me: Yeah. I'd love to tell you, but I'm kinda sorta really shy. But just out of curiosity, what's up with you and [His Girlfriend]? Are you guys back together or what?
Him: Just kinda sorta really lol. Yeah we are back together but idk something is different than the first time we went out
Me: XD. Different how?
Him: Idk they just are

I want to tell him it was me, but I'm much too shy to do it, and my stomach does backflips every time I see him. I need to tell him, but HOW? Could I get some help?

Like was noted, he has a girlfriend. I want to tell him i like him. Not ask him out.

What I've considered is giving him a note or telling him, "Hey, y'know that person you had a conversation with on Ask fm the other night? That was me."

So, how would I go about this?

I wouldn't do anything as far as attaching yourself to him at this point. He's involved with that other person. If you don't want for him to know you who are, you don't have to tell him. I really wouldn't get involved if he is already with someone.

Usually how crushes and relationships in which one or both people are unaware of each others presence work out, is that something happens in which everyone goes their separate ways, or you approach the person and start something. However if I were you I would just kick back for a minute and don't do anything you're not comfortable doing.

At least just introduce yourself as a friend if you want to. Maybe not admit that was you chatting to him, but just say I see you're already taken but I like your personality. etc. Best of luck though. :)

If this was anonymous can you be sure it was him?. personally I would leave it but you can teel him you like him just leave out the ASK conversation
