View Full Version : Too late to bloom?

It's starting to get me down again. All I got from puberty was some extra hair and a period.

Even when comparing to old pictures its clear my body hasn't changed shape in any areas other than my face since I was 12, and I started puberty at 13.

I've been 18 for about 4 months and was hoping to see something, but still nothing has changed, I just always convinced myself that I would catch up, and its kind of a let down to get hyped for something over the course of 8 years and then come to the sudden realization its not going to happen.

Anyone else get to an age where puberty was meant to be over without any visible changes? did you get an extremely late growth spurt in the end?

(I should also mention my hormones are fine and this has not happened in my family before).

I'm legally an adult woman, I just want to look like one.

See your doctor it might be a hormone deficiency

I know you see it with guys - those 20, 30+ guys with the really smooth skin, not a deep voice, little to no beard/ability to grow one and often overweight n saggy often have huge testosterone deficiencies

Can happen to girls too

Even if it were a deficiency, they treat it with birth control, which I already take. Since that changed nothing it rather seems like theres nothing wrong with them.

That's mostly just progesterone, you can have other female hormone therapies
