Hey guys, so my school has a mandatory swimming class, and I am finally learning to swim, however I have an issue with my nose where one side is lifted up further than the other, on the level that it is noticeable if you really look at it. This is causing an issue for me where water is going up my left nostril when I do the bear crawl and bobs, it burns and it's interfering with my swimming lessons.
I was wondering if you guys happen to know of any ways that I can help keep water from entering, at least until I can get nose plugs for class.

They make nose plugs that pinch your nostrils shut, if you're having a problem you should give it a shot, maybe it will help. You'll have to breathe solely through your mouth then, but I think that's how you're supposed to breathe when swimming regardless. Could be wrong on that one, though.

If you breathe evenly out of your nose and mouth the pressure of the air coming out should stop water coming in...if that isn't working for you I agree with Mike, try nose plugs.
