In math class I was zoning out one day after I had completed the homework. I think this girl who was in the general direction of my zoning thought I was looking at her and now every day were both constantly checking the other to see if each other is looking. It's kind of like a standoff but it's hard to interpret what's really going on because we don't talk at all. She could be plotting against me or she might secretly like me or something else I completely fail to see. Is there any way to go about resolving this without talking to her? I don't have much association with any of her friends.

I think if you stopped checking to see if she is looking at you, that might just end it. Its not that she might see you - others will and they might tell her. Or school being school exaggerate things.

Find a way to speak to her. Message her privately, find her in the corridor, just speak. The fact that she looks at you means that she at least thinks about you in some way, so just ask her to find out.
